Curb Appeal
Start with the outside of your home, better known as your curb appeal. Take a fresh look at the outside of your home from the view of a passerby. What jumps out at you? What unique characteristics seem hidden?
Understanding this helps us to decide what steps we can take to draw buyers from the street and into your home. If your home's exterior isn't as neat as possible with refreshed paint and colorful greenery it's time to get those things done. Refer to the Curb Appeal Checklist and boost your house's final selling price.

Welcome Home
Can buyers picture themselves watching a movie in your living room, relaxing in your reading nook or inviting family and friends over for a dinner in your dining room? We want your home to pleasantly accept buyers and offer them a sense of ease. I'll help you do this by suggesting changes that enhance the features of your property.
I'll advise you eliminate anything that gives the impression of clutter. Table and counter tops should be cleared off. Brick-a-brack, sentimental items, family photos, and kids' works of art should get moved out of sight. We need to "neutralize" the place so buyers can perceive it as their new home.
I'll look over each room of your home. Changes that directly impact your bottom line include fixable like furniture pieces that should get rearranged, rooms that need neutral paint, carpet that needs to be steamed, fixtures that need polishing, and windows that need cleaning.
Potential buyers want a place that seems comfortable. Everything that could be "offensive" should go into storage so that your house will have have general appeal during any visit.

Setting the Stage
You'll know when you're ready to show your house, because all of the improvements mesh together to set the stage for what buyers can envision after they choose to buy your house. Lighting is critical and we'll part the curtains, and create light where needed to show off your house. We'll enhance the ambiance with enjoyable music playing lightly and assure a pleasing fragrance circulates from every room. We'll make use of cozy-looking bedspreads, and place pillows on your couch and bed. Buyers should feel like your current house is their future home. |
